Hi everybody. I have a question. My 36y crankshafts, cylinders, cylinder heads and pistons, and the con rods and gearbox I want to replace 36y from 3tx. Does this work?(Google translater.Sorry.)
I think the 1100 engine cases have to be bored for the 1200 cylinders. Randy or Robert will be able to verify that for you.
All the other parents are basically the same between models.
Will a complete early 1200 (1tx or 3CV - not rubber mounted) motor transfer ok into an 100 frame?
G'day Mark, yep the early 1200 and 1100 frames are identical. Plug and play I think.

The 1100 case does not have to be bored to accept the 1200 cylinders. They will bolt straight on. Once going to bigger sleeves i.e. 1250cc, clearance must be made in the 1100 case.
Regards, Pete.
Thanks Pete! :drinks:
That's some info I'll be using in the near future
These parts are for me. The 1100 parts are bad. I hope to build a working engine. I'll post it here when it's done.Thank you for your answers
