(popcorn)

......... is it acceptable in polite society to watch a nervous breakdown...?!

Gentle now, it's all in good humor...!

It's interesting you need ask how one behaves in polite society.

Good on you Mike, just like the old days.

As you say, all in good humour.

A breakdown looks like me, after yesterday mornings “schoolboy” mistake.

I was taking Liz’s FZ1 for its annual Govt safety/roadworthiness inspection and stupidly rolled the bike off it’s centrestand, forgetting I hadn’t removed the padlock from the rear sprocket - end result, a loud crack and a chunk of her hugger flying across the garage floor.

Luckily, I had a 3” piece of flat steel and some short M5 flanged button head Allen bolts handy so I could make a quick temporary repair! Now I need to dig out the plastifix to make a proper repair........or spend $130 on a new replacement - before I tell her what I’ve done (or even “if” I tell her what I’ve done !).
