Just bought Perry's Wingrack, but now I need the mounting kit, Givi Part # Y204. Anyone have one on know where I might find one?
Another option might be if anyone would be willing to send a drawing/dimensions of the mounting arms. I have access to machine shop services, so I could possibly have it fabbed if someone could provide the info.
Any takers?

Ask Givi if they'll send it to you. Can't hurt to ask.

Givi discontinued that mounting kit some time ago. The UK FJ/FJR owners site actually makes a replacement that is based on the Y204 mounting kit, but I think that you will have to become a member (about $40 when converted from pounds) and then pay whatever it is for the part. I wasn't going to install my wingrack on my FJ for a few weeks still (purchased from a member here with the mounting kit) but I'll be working on installing a few things next week on the bike, so if I get a chance I'll take pictures of it with measurements.

Awesome. I would appreciate any help given. I'd rather find a NOS or used kit, but if not, the pics and measurements would be greatly appreciated.

What I meant was to ask Givi if they'll provide you with their drawings. Why would they care if they don't make them any more? Besides, I'm guessing you'll be buying some new bags, which makes them money.

I would think that as well; apparently they don't agree. They sent the same installation PDF that Dennis posted, but said no to the engineering drawings. I'm kind of surprised.

Well, no luck on a kit at this point. Called everyone that I could think might be a possibility, nothing except the UK club repro kit, and I really don't want to pay $200-300 for a few brackets. Dennis, I'll pm you as well, but if you could get some some measurements, I really would appreciate it. I've got a machinist/fabricator friend of mine lined up to make this kit for me if I can get him the measurements. Thanks again for everyones help; if the first kit works out, I may see if I can have some extras made up for sale to the club members.

Yes, that's who I bought the Wingrack from. Mount kit had already sold to someone else. Problem solved though; I found the Y204 kit with another member. It's on the way to me now, and I'm going to get measurements of the stock pieces and see about possibly having it reproduced. Thanks for the help!

Thats awesome. Thanks for everyone's help. Now if I can just afford the cases, I should be good to go!

83elite, remember to make sure your exhaust is not too close, or point up at all towards the side cases..... I bought mine used and if I had not turned one of them upside down i would have missed the repair from the melting of the bottom of the case. The setup is probably designed for the original slip on cans, and similarly positioned aftermarket ones. I have a 4-1 Kerker system that would definitely not fit with the cases as the can would definitely melt the case.
