OK thanks randy,synching and air fuel mixture procedure should get it right,also these jets effects the performance from idle to 1/4 throttle,,

With 40 pilots, the fuel screws should be 1 turn out, +- 1/8 turn. If you have stock exhaust, you'll find a bolt in each downpipe, just behind the bend to horizontal. Yamaha meant those to sample and tune each carb individually. You can sniff each Cyl with your EGA... Yamaha was ahead of Honda in many ways.

Appreciate the info,however I got my screws at 2 1/2 turns out,along with synching them and .I'm super happy with its performance, 29 degress today in grove city Ohio,1/4 chock it started and idled first hit.I'm leaving it alone.
