I sure had fun with you Ron, riding out to the Black Hills of SD.
Dodging thunder storms across the plains of Wyoming while you kept an eye on the weather radar
App on your iPhone.
I will never forget that trip.  Good times indeed

What rain, Pat?  I don't remember any rain!

Cap'n Ron. . .

There are two types of people in the world...Those who put people into categories...and those who don't.

Is there going to be a Ouray rally for 2017? If so I need to know who is the coordinator is going to be.

Let me know, Randy

I can Coordinate this, but I'm not going to be able to attend.
If the interested folks want this to happen, I can contact the resort and set it up.
Let me know if this is an acceptable arrangement, and I'll move forward with it.
It would be nice to get a probable head-count before I contact them.

Enough of such talk Al. Plenty of time between now and then for you to delegate responsibilities and free up your calendar. It won't be the same without you. Especially those evening rides with a smoked visor.

Well, obviously I'm going.  Hell, I bought another FJ just so I could make the damn rally.  I better not be the only one there!   :nea:

With great risk of jynxing myself with a work trip during this timeframe -- I'm a definite maybe!

Another definite maybe. I spent time in the area as a kid, and I'd like to see it on two wheels. Plus, my kids both live in Denver and I've got old friends in Boulder; I'd like to make an extended trip out that way. It's just too early to commit.
We're not a club. Clubs have rules. Pay dues. Wear hats and shit.

It was memorable for sure!
I'm glad I had your tail-lights to follow that last stretch.  :good:

looks like I'll be one week off on my summer motorcycle trip.  Unless something serendipitous comes up, I will not be able to attend this year.

That, or I could just ride ride out and pull another iron butt both on directions this time and only take a few days off work...

Cory and I were happy to be back in camp after that ride. WOW, what a long day that turned out to be.
