Hi guys,

My so far newly acquired 1200 shall be on the road in the next week or two and then I'll be shopping for the good stuff to fit over next winter.

Personally I prefer the look of multi spoke (5or6) wheels and so I was wondering if anyone had fitted any to their FJ.  I will be swapping the front and rear ends but have made no decision as to what.

Cheers.

I suppose I should ask if anyone has fitted r6 5 spokes, fireblade or CBR600 6 spokes or best of all Kawasaki ZX6R 6 spoke Y type.  I are the ER6 has a similar wheel to, but would be concerned over its strength.

Most of the guys that have swapped newer R1/R6 stuff have done complete front end/swingarm swaps.

There are a few of them on here somewhere.

Yep, a cush drive is nice to have on a street bike.
Are those PM rims sized for the FJ? Those axle holes look kinda big. Any provisions for a speedo drive?

Good luck cleaning the inside surfaces of those spokes.  Take it from me, cleaning polished aluminum is something to consider. It looks great when clean, not so good when not...
