Just wanted to throw this out if anyone wants to join/meet up.  I have new tires looking to be broken in.

I'll be leaving Minneapolis early in the morning on the 28th, heading straight for the Ozarks.  I'll spend the 29th and morning of the 30th riding and exploring before heading home.  Back for work on the 31st.

If you are in the area and or have suggestions on roads/routes- just let me know    :good2:

I would highly recommend staying at the Hub Motorcycle resort. The hotel is 1950's era and Motel 6 quality, but there is a restaurant 100 yards across the parking lot that serves good food and is affiliated with the Hub.

This link will give you somewhere to start for some ride planning. http://harrisonarkansas.org/c_upe_view.php?id=34

I have personally ridden portions of a few of these routes.

The Peel Ferry Route is pretty good. I have ridden from Branson clockwise down to the ferry and then to Harrison. HWY160 in Missouri is incredible.

There is also The Pig Trail, HWY23. It is a great ride from the HWY16 intersection south to the Turner Bend Gift shop and camp grounds. https://roadtrippers.com/trips/14617028

Push Mountain (AR341) and AR123 south of Mt Judea are don't miss rides.

AR74 east or west out of Jasper give a great ride over the mountains.

Watch your speed on AR7.  They make a lot of money off of that road.

About 10 riders from my area will be up there next week arriving on Tuesday.  Unfortunately I can't make it (bummer)

Yah what he said. I also recommend the hub. Good people. Last time I was there. A couple of guys came riding in on a bemer. Guy on the back had crashed about 20 miles away. The Hub was their destination. The owner couldn't leave because his wife wasn't there. So he gave his new truck to the first guy. So he could drive his buddy to the hospital. When they got back the three of them went and recovered his bike.

Sounds like some great ideas!  Thanks for the input everyone.

Looks like it will now be dependent on work and getting Tuesday off to make it worth my wile to ride down there. If not the Ozarks, it will be the Wildcat Mountain area of Wisconsin on Sunday/Monday at least as that is doable in an out and back ride.

I am excited to put this information in my "rides" folder- will be getting down there sometime for sure!

Yah think of wildcat multiplied by 10,000.  And you've got the Ozarks. Work sucks. Fred is thinking middle rally for next year should be the Ozarks again. I do too.

Been there too. My FJ Ozarks Trip

It's a little bit of a jaunt to take on for a couple/few days of riding, from our neck of the woods. I rode the 660 miles back in one day. Butt was a little sore, and I was tired afterwards.

Have fun!
