Finally. Traced the problem. Broken wire at the igniter/cdi. A few drops of solder and shrinkwrap later, hey presto all working.
Decided to replace the pump already so as soon as the replacement arrives I should be back in business.

No sweat - that's helpful. Now for a few more bits of plastic to come off!


Found it - and a broken wire! Now fixed. Many thanks for the help.
New pump already ordered so I'll fit that next week when it gets here, and away we go!
