Observing RPMs web sight and looking at base gaskets and head gaskets,a thought id like to share,is the fjs crank already balanced.im considering this option.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. <-this is hard-won wisdom, OK?  Just my $.02 worth.  Balance the carbs, not the crankshaft.   :biggrin:

I'm looking for a answer.not a procedure as to maintain my bike I do just fine in that area

Yes, the FJ crank is balanced.
Can the balance be better? Sure. I have heard of cranks spin balanced to 100k rpm.
The question is, on a street bike, do you need to? I'll let the experts (Chris/Randy, etc) chime in.

I think a better choice would be balancing lighter reciprocal parts. Lighter rods and Pistons balanced to within 0.5 grams of each other.
I also think better valve springs and Vitton seals would serve you better.

Thank you Mr,conlon.im going into my head and honing and rering my pistons this winter and while I'm in Thier Id like to know if that option would be beneficial..

Take measurements to make sure your cylinder bores are still round. You may be surprised.
If would be a shame to slap new rings on your pistons only to find that they don't seal because the cylinder bores are oval.
Balance your pistons.
Use The lighter (35 grams) stronger XJR 1250 rods

Balance the XJR rods.

While you have things apart, might as well do your top end (in for a penny, etc)

Lap your valves, or send out to a shop that will cut new seats.
Use superior KMPI valve springs to keep the 10k valve float away

You will have a smooth, strong, high reving, oil tight engine.
