Hi was wondering if a vacuum operated fuel pump off a TDM 850 would work on a fj12 ? Cheers

Sure, with enough work. But why? What problem are you trying to solve?  The stock electric pumps seem to work just fine...

An electric pump will give better fuel delivery, is by design more reliable and allows the use of a proper filter. The most common fix for failed or dodgy vacuum pumps on bikes is to replace them with electric pumps.

Sure is nice to have your electric pump prime the fuel bowls before you push the starter button.

That won't happen with a vacuum pump.

Scotty,

Great news :good2:

RPM now has the proper, genuine Yamaha fuel pump in stock. The best thing about this news is they are half the price you can buy it anywhere else.
