Nearly there. Off for exhausts.
Very low.

Wow! That's.... different...  I haven't been to Ireland since I was a kid in '76, but I hope the roads are smoother than your laneway to you workshop!  :mocking:  Keep up with the pics please.  :good2:

That's gonna be cool Jonesy!
Look for a vertical oil cooler that will fit between the down tubes better than our wide rectangular coolers.
Don't be fooled into running that big air cooled lump of an engine without an oil cooler.

Your project takes me back 40 years with my "slightly modified"  CB750:

Keep the pictures coming!  Kudos laddie!

I have wrapped the exhausts since the video was taken.
Been for a few shakedown runs, ground clearance is marginal but acceptable.
Pulls strong, handles fine, I'm very happy.
My front forks are slightly bent.
She's stripped now,ready for paint

Another shot of it.
The bare steel is a real head turner and probably fashionable but I was never that fashionable.

That'll certainly blow the wool off the sheep as you rumble by.  :good2:  Hope you're on good terms with the neighbours. Makes for a great alarm in the morning.

I actually like the bare metal look.  Did you make the frame or is that something you order off the shelf?

Nearest neighbour is 1km away.
Frame is an off the shelf item.
A Hard Up Customs, Wormburner frame.
Actually for a Gsxr oil cooled motor.

Very clean looking custom. Have a friend who built a custom hard tail Harley just like yours. After riding it a few years(and he got older) changed the seat out to a springer. Hinged on the front with coil springs on the rear. Said it was much more comfortable. Great looking build.

A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

Yep, stick coils from a Honda Fireblade. Didn't fancy having to fit bulky coils on the bike. I'm not too bothered about their appearance. More concerned about practicality.
