Hey guys...... I was forced to buy a replacement chin cowling for CanD but it was aftermarket and made of fiberglass. The fit is great and ready to paint.....unfortunately it did not come with any heat protection where it sits up close to the exhaust pipes. Does anyone know where to find the heat resistant pad that lines the inside of the lower chin cowling......or where to find a suitable alternative?  :drinks:

This stuff seems to be motorcycle targeted.

The same link is also in this post that gives a general shape template for the chin cowling.
