A man stepped out on his patio this afternoon, turned the corner and came face to face with Satin. Satin readily could see the poor guy was surprised and frightened. Satin said , "I would like to stay and chat with you, but it is hotter than Hades out here. So I will just hurry home to relax and cool off a little bit!...."  Yes, it's a dry heat, as well as dry humor. OK, all together now, groannnnn!

Just purchased one of those wet cool vests. With the vest and a freeze pack in each pocket maybe I can get more riding in this Texas heat.

  Yes, it's a dry heat.........................

We hear that a lot, It's a dry heat........my response is, "Yea, well, so is my oven...."

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate or loose a kidney.

I no longer cross the Mojave/Sonora deserts in the summer afternoons. Early morning or late night crossings only.

Getting too old for that shit.

Yeah, I second that. As an electrician, I work mainly outdoors, and in attics. Problem is, I never worried about hydration too much, unless i felt thirsty. Big mistake. I ended up with kidney stones at 22. Now i drink enough for the entire crew put together....

Who let this Ryanschoebel guy on the forum. An electrician-had kidney stones-rides a FJ! Is this the kind of guy we need on the forum?

Satin may be good for bed sheets (if you're into that) but I prefer cotton.
