Did I mention I really like your investment in your bike however your still a dick head

Pat Conlon

Yea, thanks, I love my '84. RPM also did my motor.

So, you're now clear that RPM *does not* have a shop dyno to measure horsepower? Correct?

My statement is that they need one first (as Mark explained) to tune and develop their fuel injection kit.

Do you follow what I'm saying or do you want me to explain it in a different way?

Try as I might, I can not understand Mike's explanation, can anyone help?
Set aside the grammar and spelling, it's the message I can't understand.

....I with the assumption from your statement RPM has a in house Dyno.if so I'm saying rpm is the only legit place to check my bikes hp as rpm pretty much did all the specs on my motor.

For background, here's what he is trying to explain:

Well Pat, no I can't explain it.  But it is good unprovoked entertainment (albeit at your expense)

Well done taking it in stride

FJmonkey

Pat, I think when you posted "An RPM shop dyno is first!", Mike took it as you telling him to take it to RPM for a Dyno. That would explain why he might think RPM has one. But better if Mike explains it.

Ok, thanks Mark.

I would rather not have Mike explain anything, chances are, I would not understand it anyway.

Pat, after reading Mark's point of view, I think I agree with him.

Let me attempt to translate this into English:

"Fu pat."  = FU Pat, but intended to be conveyed with a tone suggesting that a dyno run is a great idea but now it's going to cost him to spend some more money.  Think of it as a Klavdy comment.

"RPM does dynos."  =  Should be interpreted as a question: "RPM does dynos?"  As in he really didn't know that but thanks for the information

"I'm in trucking now I gottta figure out shipping"  = I work in the trucking industry.  Now I'm going to have to figure out how to get my FJ to RPM for a dyno run.

"your a ass"  = You're an ass.  Again, think of this as a Klavdy response.

I'm giving him all the benefit of doubt that his response is actually NOT intended to be hostile.  If this is true, it is a very good example of how bad grammar and lazy typing can lead to misinterpretation of one's intent and true message.

I have nothing for when he called you a dick head except that now that you're mad at him, he's got to be mad at you back.

Thanks David.

I could not understand the jump from talking about RPM future offerings to Mike assuming I was talking about his bike.
In the preceding posts Randy was talking about RPM's possible future offerings (tires/chains), then Mike said "fuel injection is coming" which I understood as a future RPM offering, at which I said "an RPM shop dyno is first" again in keeping with the theme of future RPM offerings.

I'm done.

I made a comment about understanding his posts a while ago and this was his reply,
"Grinding away the miles.its very positive.I do need to pre read my posts.sorry fellas"   It's obvious he has a memory problem as well.
