I gotta admit, it has to take balls to mash the go pedal on that abomination. I'll give you that.

That said, I couldnt do that in ANYTHING haha I'd give it a go, no worries......always up for a bit of pedal mashing on 4 wheels Now, on 2 wheels, it's not the same !! I need to have some degree of confidence in the way it's put together before I go balls-out, on-track, on a bike.

Ryan is back down in coalinga for the second attempt at 200. A few valve train improvements and a refine to the tune yielded better horsepower. Unfortunately I was at work when it was on the dyno. A pro stock drag race style wing, some drag slicks and a parachute will hopefully get it to 200 and then stopped before the pavement runs out. Here is a live timing link for today: https://api.rss3t.com/reports/stats/14He is number 171 today and in class, RWD (NL - Trap Speed Day 1 QualifyingThe shake down run to feel out the changes has happened. Well, the junkyard motor decided it had had enough of the attempts to go 200 and threw up the It blew a head gasket at about half track and still ran over 160 spewing steam. The goal was to make concentrated steps to make sure the changes to the car and engine were what's needed to go 200. Stay tuned for more in the future. Randy - RPM

It is a Miata after all... That's true and so much inline with your Por-she. Both are converted street cars, not "Real Race Cars". Now, I hope you are getting ready for the road race match up. Once we get to 200 it is going to be set up for the track and the times will be compared. Remember, you already are 0-2 when it comes to the real race cars: Both the Legend and the Thunder Roadster based on lap times. Once you get waxed by the Miata, what's the excuse going to be...? You better start getting ready, come 2020 the road race is on. For this year, we are going to try once more the elusive 200 MPH... BTW, we watched the in-car video you recently posted, you look and sound like you are on a Sunday drive... Watch the hands, this driving bro: https://youtu.be/Hbr-edgIlM4?t=462Oh yeah, that is Robert in the red car spinning me out at about 8:45... A complete spin and right back in it, too bad it broken the clutch basket and started slipping the clutch only to fully grenade a little later in the race. Pay real close attention at about 20:45. He is driving it: counter steering and shifting at the same time... Ryan did have a bad day that day only to have to capped off at 32:49 when the lower third link mount broke after the race ended...Got everything out of that real race car that day. Randy - RPM

Lap times between two different cars tells us nothing. You beat my lap time in my car and we can talk. Or vice-versa.
