Hey my fellow FJ riders it has been a while since my frequent posting days. A lot has happened in my world since the west coast rally in 2017.

I started a charity with my wife , Named "Save our Children" . Those of you that donated at the 2017 WCR helped to start a nation wide movement, with some international help as well, to reunite children with their parents . The current total is somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000 children brought home as of Jan 2018.
Special thanks once again to all of you who helped make this happen.
Send me a PM if you wish to learn more about "save our children".

I am once again Running my HVACR business after a 3yr break of playing service manager for a friends company. It is nice to have the ability to make my own schedule once again.

I will be attending the WCR this year along with my riding buddy Craig Z. Hayfork sounds like a great spot and I missed it last time due to a collapsed lung from ..... story best told at a Rally camp fire.  :drinks:

In regards to My 86Fj , I will be getting to the bottom of the smoking problem and low compression in #3 cyl. It seems I probably broke a ring or piston with my new found 2nd gear after the transmission repair. I am surrounded with multiple great roads as many of you learned with the Coloma WCR and it is near impossible to stop riding when the twisty roads are calling.

At worst case scenario I will temporarily transplant a loaner 1100 engine into my bike for Rallly purposes . engine donated by George Bowers who some of you may remember from the Yahoo fj group.

Speaking of George Bowers , He has recently undergone a triple heart bypass surgery on Jan 3rd and is now at home resting and recovering.

I look forward to posting in the project section when I tear my engine down and see what the hell happened ..  :shok:

George is doing well and resting and will soon be back up and going again. ... check this out , Before the surgery he took his FJ out for the just in case I die from surgery ride., so even being all messed up he rode his FJ. Now that is a FJ forever kind of guy.
I think he will be ok , and I expect to be riding with him around the foothills once again.
