And his gas gauge still works? I'm not sure I'm buying this story but I hope its true. At my age I will never wear out my bike before I die.

A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

Fred---Does speedhut or anyone make a digital gas gauge that would work on the FJ? Has anyone installed a digital gas gauge?

This guy has been on FB a while, I came across him recently on an FJ group.

He's posted photos of him and his bike throughout Europe, up to the Himalayas, Middle East, Gulf, North Africa and some other places.

He might be bullshitting on the true k's, but it is the most well travelled FJ I've ever heard of.

A friend of mine, I've written about him here already.
He has no reason to bullshit about anything.

Ivan, bring yourself and Darko over to the US. We will find bikes for you two to ride and places to sleep.

It would be an honor to meet Darko.

Aaahhhh, trust me, I've been fantasizing about that many times. Although it would be more interesting to bring my own FJ.  :gamer:

I spoke with Mark Arliss over the Holidays. He has looked at the cost to bring his FJ from England and then back. Roughly $2000.00 freight charges round trip for the FJ.

I've looked at it a lot of times, both sea and air. I think I even seen cheaper offers.  :i_am_so_happy: But, for now it is still impossible moneywise. You know it wouldn't stay just on coming over, it would need to be at least a US tour.

While you're at it, you and Darko could do a world tour and cross Australia after you are finished touring America.

When you get to Perth my bro has an 1100 that is only half as travelled as Darko's with a paltry 700,000km  :sarcastic:

Perth always sounded interesting, mostly because I've got cousins, aunt and uncle over there.
