It is the same thing Texas and many other states do to generate more revenue. I would go for it if the emoji had a hand with the raised middle finger. Don't see that option among the emojis on this sight either.   :biggrin:

Years ago had a friend give the finger on his drivers license picture. They didn't tell him not to but they cropped the photo so only his face and the tip of his middle finger were visible. He was disappointed when he received his license.

Here in Queensland once you purchase the plate you own it forever even if it is not currently in rego. You can sell it or just keep it in the closet

In NSW a private company owns the plates and RMS leases them to sell to you for a yearly fee.
