How long do the engines last? I got 70k miles.

I have roughly 150,000 miles on my '90 FJ1200.
I have taken care of it as far as maintenance goes, but I can't say I have been easy on it.......................It has even been upside-down at least once.................possibly twice.  :sarcastic:

And Lee gave you the story of his FJ1100....................It has over 220,000 miles on it.
It still starts right up, and runs like it should.

These engines aren't what I would consider "High-Compression" engines, and they were pretty over-built in their design.

Be diligent about your oil-changes, and keep current on the valve-clearances and you shouldn't have any issues running these engines up to red-line whenever you get the chance.  :gamer:
