All is confirmed and the bike is ready to go. I will be pulling out of Wichita 6:30am Wednesday morning and plan to roll into Oakdale with CutterBill in tow Thursday afternoon. The IBA Bun Burner 1500 will be in play.

Fred

Dress super warm Fred..........We have a cold-front moving through Wyoming and Colorado this week.
They are calling for Snow, and a high temp of near 20-degrees F. for Thursday!
You are going to have a cold ride if you are planning on I-80.

Don't worry Fred,  looks like about perfect weather for this weekend in nor-cal

The weather looks perfect for the Rally. The weather getting there and then returning is what I really look at. Here are a few screen shots of the forecasted weather and temps going the Southern route.

There may be some rain Wednesday morning leaving Wichita and then pretty good riding weather for the remainder of the day. The destination for Wednesday is Gallup, NM by late afternoon/early evening. A stop at a hotel for 5-6 hours of sleep. On the road by 1:00am. Pick up CutterBill in Mojave, CA and blaze into Oakdale by 6:00pm. The only stretch of COLD weather will be going through the Flagstaff area, but that will be early Thursday morning before the real cold sets in there.

It shouldn't,  but might affect the lunch stop location.

I started working on that yesterday.

Dry, thin air is damn cold at 7000 feet. Came Flagstaff at sunrise.

It was 26 this morning in Reno and is supposed to be the same tommarrow when we leave .Luckily it's only three and a half hours to Oakdale  .We are waiting for a chain and sprockets for Ian's zzr that was supposed to be here on Tuesday.shipping has become as unreliable as California electrical power.

All because the tree-huggers won't let them trim the trees... It looks like it's limited to places where the power lines are above ground. Brentwood has been spared. It's a nightmare at work, however. The chaos created by random power outages at FAA facilities across the state is madness. Glad I'm off for a few days. See you guys tomorrow!

Randy, got room for a quick oil change in the morning? Me and the Midget plan to roll in around 1000.

I will not be there until around 2. Robert will be there,  but not sure if he'll have time to do it.
