Well I missed the airshow at Wollongong  :ireful:.

BUT, I had a choice. I can attend one but not the other, so the bike show got the nod.

Some beautiful bikes and a real blast from the past for me. Some of my dream machines of my teens and a couple of bikes from my teens! Even my first road bike, a Kawasaki LTD 250 (POS but I loved it). I even took my three runners to show off their new paint....
1984 FJ1100 Ms Effie brand new :)
1984 FJ1100 Pearlie, stock as.
1985 FJ1100 Mr Effie 647,000K and still running hard.
1985 FJ1200 'Yummy' takes a licking & keeps on ticking
After all is said and done, more is said than done :)
2013 Trumpy Tiger 800, let's do a lap of Oz

Sparky84

I didn't make either so I'm glad you got some pics.
Nice array of bikes there on the first coolish day.

That LTD looked like a motorised dragster! It's a wonder you never progressed to a Harley.
1984 FJ1100
1979 Kawasaki Z1300
1972 Honda CB750/4 K2

Tuned forks

Wow, some really cool bikes there.

Agree Xray, we should have some 3CV FJ's on show (but no Poofy Dark Violet / silver ones, too many around) :rofl2: :greeting:  :flag_of_truce:
First major bike in my life was a Mach III widow maker.
My Second permanent bike 1978 Z1R (owned since Dec 1977)
My Third permanent bike is the 89 FJ12 - nice and fast
Forth bike 89 FJ12 my totally standard workhorse

Great report many nice bikes there your Fj looks best i really like the Mike Hailwood ducati machine. I got a little confused by the orange ducatis i tought they where laverdas at first look..Did not know the 250 Kawa had drumbrake :mocking: it looks very similar to the suzuki zr50sl i once had and even that bike had a diskbrake in front..I like retro bikes better than the
newest bikes. Many new bikes looks like combination of transformers and insects :drinks:
