FJR brake light switch

So, I found this curious little problem - my brake light stays on, until I brake. And then it goes out.

The bike has an FJR brake master, and it turns out the switch works in reverse of the original - it's open when released (brake lever pulled), and closed when pressed (brake lever released).

This is not a defective switch - I opened it, and it's designed that way. It's a two-prong switch, so there is no way to connect it wrong.

Is there a switch that will work properly and mount to the FJR cylinder?  Different year FJR, maybe? I had an FJR cylinder on my previous FJ and did not have this problem.

I did a search on the forum, but didn't come up with a definitive answer.

Does the master switch connection have 3 pins or 2?
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Or, actually, doesn't have it, if the website is to be believed.

Randy, are you really out of stock on those?

I really don't know, I'm at home. I did not notice that when I posted the link. I'll have to look Monday morning.  They are from a vendor fairly local and usually can have it in hand the next day.

It sold on the 31st and not sure if Robert ordered a replacement before the end of the week.

I will find out tomorrow morning what the status is.

Yes we are out. They are on order and we should have a few more tomorrow or Wednesday.

I bypassed my front brake switch and just use the foot brake to light up the brake light. It's more fun that way at rallies when I'm leading the pack.
