I want to take a moment to thank all the United States of America veterans who have served, currently serving or are related to anyone who is serving or has served in our military.

There are many forum members here was served in the armed forces and I appreciate your service and sacrifice in protecting our freedoms and liberties.

I was able to attend the local veteran's day parade this morning. It was an honor to shake many hands and thank them personally for their service and sacrifice for this great country.

Thank you, Randy - RPM

Thank you Randy for putting up a Veteran's Day post that recognize those of us that have served in the Military.

I would also add that November 11th is Remembrance Day in the UK and Armistice Day in France and Belgium to recognize their countries veterans.

Too many of our younger generations who have never had to face the realities of WAR have little or no comprehension of the sacrifice and hardship it brings - and so have a less than stellar attitude towards remembrance. Too many over here are also wrongly trying to portray the Poppy symbol and Remembrance Sunday as a glorification of war.

Thank goodness for people like Randy there, and people of his/our ilk here, to make sure that we do remember and give thanks for the sacrifices of all of those who serve for our continued freedom.
