Forks polished and rebuilt with Racetech springs, 2004 FJR calipers, new lines, EBC HH pads, engraved levers, touched up engine paint, painted wheels, new wheel bearings and seals, GSXR rear wheel mod, new chin fairing, sidestand extended, new PR 4GTs, fender stripes (vinyl wrap and 3M reflective tape), high intensity brake light...

Still want to touch up the frame here and there. Also installing white versions of that brake light to replace the anemic LEDs I have in the air scoops.

I have been wanting to do all this stuff for years... To think I almost put this thing up for sale last spring for lack of use, (Chicago area sucks, drivers getting worse, topography boring, Winter/Construction seasons, it's either 15 or 95 out).
Getting it ready for sale, I had that obvious epiphany that I was an idiot. My guts would probably turn and I'd have dreams it was still mine, only to wake up and fight regrets. Went for a ride and fell back in love. It would seem I rebounded appropriately.

Beautiful John, well done.  :good: I like your solution for your highway pegs....very cool!

We have heard from folks who have sold their FJ's only to regret their decision years later.

Are not our FJ's one of the most beautiful motorcycles ever made?

Your red silver red is my favorite. True.

Before I found this one in 2012, I was set to buy a '92 in supposedly almost perfect condition. The owner (18 years I think he said) was scheduled to ride it to me for inspection and sale. He Emailed me the night before and told me he just couldn't go through with it. I do understand now.

A beautiful refurb and update. Good to hear that you decided to keep it.

If you are interested in going to a Rally in the Midwest, the 2nd week in June there is a large Sport Touring Rally being held in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. It would be great to meet you and see your FJ in person

That sounds like fun, however I will be hiking in Utah that week.

That is a very, very, nice looking FJ  - and in the best colour scheme too :good2:

I was certain in mind about keeping my wheels silver when I did my FJ restomod, but now seeing your black wheels, I'm thinking maybe I should change them
