Short but nice ride through the Boonville Flats

The next somewhat major town due west of Columbia is called Boonville.

If you take the back roads, you come upon some nice straightaways I call "The Boonville Flats".

The way back was a lot of rolling corners and wonderful secondary roads that I just love. And little to no traffic, even better.

Nice day for a long overdue ride.

Now to see if the fork seal leaks - I used the plastic thing-a-ma-bobber again.

I could tell I need oil in one leg, but you know what, it's still a better machine than I am a rider.

Looks like an awesome little run!

The police are heavy out there.

But with help from a few friends, thanks to everyone having a cell phone (instead of a CB radio), "testing" can be done.

I think we all have our favorite roads and "test locations".

"Grocery Branch" is close to the city, but far enough away to not attract a lot of attention.

Legal is always the best option. There are two 1/8 mile tracks about two and a half hours away, one way. That's not bad.

Thank you
