******Effective immediately******

Political posts, discussions or content will not be allowed on the FJowners.com forum.

I have been on vacation and working on my house nonstop. I haven't seen a computer or television in almost 6 days. But, in this time frame there have been several people who have reported posts to moderators, I have also received PM's and emails.

So, enough is enough.

As of this point forward, there will be zero political content on the FJowner.com forum. If anyone posts anything political it will be immediately deleted. If someone wants to keep posting political content, then their posts will have to be approved before being posted.

Now, before anyone starts in about their 1st amendment rights being violated, this is a privately owned forum and there are rules. This is now a new rule.

If you want to speak your piece on politics, get your own domain name, set up your forum and I'll let everyone know they can visit for political content.

This forum was founded and is currently based around the Yamaha FJ1100 & FJ1200 motorcycle.

That is reason each of us signed up; not for political content.

Now, lets get back to FJ's.

I'll tell you what Andy, since you seek religion here are your two choices.

1) Go someplace else
Or
2) Since your out for the summer take a trip over to Oakdale and I'll work some religion into you...

I am working on the roof of my house it's been at or over 100 for the last 7 days and you will find your religion real fast.

I sent you a text, see you in the morning, Ramos might even be here.

I whole-heartedly agree with the new rule.

But I find it somewhat ironic that in a previous election year, a similar request from the Yahoo group moderator to end the politics and get back to FJ topics was met with a flourish of negative comments and cries of censorship.  It ultimately led to the formation of this very site.
