"Rusty and Crusty" was moved today so I snapped a few pictures.

It's going to be a frame off if/when I do anything with it.

Love those mufflers!

The previous owner, who bought it new, let it sit outside for far too long.

But, it has a clean clear title in my name, and it's pretty complete, but, well, it's a mess.....

The engine oil still looks "OK" and I believe it has that second gear issue, but I know how to fix that.

For now it has a new home, out of my "shop", and is in good company.
Always nice to have projects waiting.

Like you say, it's krusty, rusty and cosmetically nasty.......but it looks like it's all there (apart from the mirrors)......which is a huge plus for a resto project  :good2:

Curious, what's the date on the tires?

My guess is that's a Metzeler ME33 Laser on the front?

I think you're correct...and that looks like a matching ME 99 on the rear too.......classics !

Plenty of tread left on em...sell em on eBay and get back some of the purchase money  :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

Are classic ME33s a hot commodity?
