*sigh* Still no gear indicator...

There's no transmission sensor in a GPS speedometer... so despite the sighing....  highly unlikely that you will ever be satisfied on this.  There's only 5 gears, I count as I go if I am even paying attention.  RPM and "pull" usually enough of an indicator.  5th always (ALWAYS) arrives too soon.  If I had a gear indicator showing "5" to me all the time I would be cursing at it and wishing for 6th....

Calm down, big guy, we've already had this discussion.

With the return to the ranks of the employed. Casper is getting a much needed instrument cluster upgrade.

Fred, do you have a tyre pressure monitor system?

Noel

No I don't.

Progress on the gauge install. The programmed mileage on the new gauge is not exact. I guessed at how many miles I would ride while waiting on the gauges. I don't think 128 miles difference will make anyone upset. The push button cable that I am holding is plugged into the rear of the speedo and mounts as the reset button. Allows toggling the LCD screens. Every splice gets filled with dielectric grease.
I don't think there are actual figures for Oil Pressure. The readings show about 50psi at idle and 80psi at 6000rpm.
The arrows point to the 2 OEM and 2 Speed Hut connectors. 100% plug and play....

Very cool gauges i guess this is an upgrade from the blue speedhut gauges you had as its added temp and oilpressure. As a non electrical guy it will to much to bite over to
install them on my bike, but i can tell that the oilpressure is fine it should be about 50 to 65 psi on the oilcooler circuit and 65 to 85psi on the main galley circuit  good2

The Blue gauges are still on my 1995 FJ. The Red gauges are being installed on my 1990 FJ (Casper).

Short video of the new gauges at night.

Yes, the headlight is aimed too high with the recent fork swap.

Love the colour Fred, easy to see at night.
