You can receive e-mail notifications when posts or replies are made in the various topics.

First, go into the thread you would like to monitor and click on the NOTIFY button in the menu bar on the top right hand side of the pane.  What this will do is send you an e-mail when any NEW content is posted in that thread.  By default, the e-mail will give you a link directly to the thread to view it – and also an unsubscribe link should you no longer wish to receive notifications on that thread.

You can also opt to receive the ACTUAL CONTENT in the e-mail, instead of simply a link.  To do this follow the instructions below:
- First click on the PROFILE button in the menu bar above.
- On the left hand side of the screen under "Modify Profile" click the "Notifications and Email" link.
- Check the 4th checkbox that says: "When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email"

You can also set your personal preferences to receive the notification AUTOMATICIALLY to any thread you post into.  This keeps you from having to hit the NOTIFY button on each thread you post into.  To activate this, click on the 3rd checkbox that says: "Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic"

Receiving emailed responses on subscribed threads is nice. To be able to reply via email would be even nicer. But this has been a wish of mine since day one of the migration from the Yahoo site.
