Unbelievable. NOBODY is that stupid. It's gotta be a joke.

Then again, I did stop at Lowe's and buy some foil faced duct tape to use to secure the aluminum can on my right side Cobra F1 slip on, when the aluminum pop rivets sheared and the can was ready to fall off.  I was 300 miles from home.

Lesson: 3 aluminum pop rivets are not enough....6 steel pop rivets work just fine.

That foil faced duct tape is bitchen stuff....

Hope nobody saw me on the I-10 coming home.   Thank God for full faced helmets.

I have that same bike, -same colors even, and I see nothing wrong with the stock double exhaust -I guess a single can could be lighter, an possibly liberate a HP or two, but that bike is not now, nor will it ever be about HP...  [still, as is it'll do an indicated 105mph.]

Anyway what a train wreck.

Live hardy, or go home.

There are some people that should never be allowed anywhere near tools or a workshop. Even motorbikes for that matter.   :shok:

Douche-bag has his name on his number plate. Do you suppose it's because he's so stupid he can't even find his own half-assed cobbled together bike in the Lowe's parking lot?

Dumbass doesn't even have a stock pipe to return to since he butchered that one up during his "adventure." Do you suppose that his fart cannon fell off because of the 6 pounds of nuts, washers, and ready rod he stuffed in there?

RACER111V

This is the technology applied to many of the Honda Civics I have seen. Many of the Honda forums I visit are full of write ups like this.

I found the forum's motto particularly poignant- "doing more with less." Way more effort than sanity would dictate with far less materials than any bike deserves. I found it even more frightening when someone used their first post to point out the more flagrant problems with this mod, and was criticized in return for it! Is this what has become of our youth? Where is the sense of modesty when you've done something that awful? At least blame the previous owner...

was amusing till the pic of the doodle welding over a cabinet of flammables.......the mind wobbles....... :shok: :shok:

Their Fluffy made it a reference item.

Our Fluffy, would he do that?

Guessing most kludges this ugly come out of on-the-road necessity.  and then most of us have the sense not to create a pictorial and proudly display on the internet.

Really like that frankenstein "tunable" weight saving baffle made of 10 pounds of pipe fitting, threaded rod, nuts and washers.  "Each spaced a different distance apart, to absorb different frequencies"  LMAO..

I am so using that excuse next time I fabricate something.  To reduce vibration or something if sound isn't plausible...

Ah, the grand tradition of the back yard bodger. Even the dog was trying to stop him. Too bad it's blind now.

He's much less likely to be a danger to me when I ride if he's not in a car....
