Got the bike loaded up.  I should arrive Thursday late afternoon.

BTW it looks like there is an air show (per the KOA website) at the Gunnison airport on Saturday if anyone is interested.

Cory and I took a little ride on a nice winding road south of Gunnison.
I had to satisfy his need to ride after 1.5 days in the truck getting here!

Now just kicking back at the KOA and loving it!

The WCR contingent arrived about 7 PM local time, dog tired after a 400 mi day.  Andyoutandabout & I crashed about 9-10.  Paddy & Paul wimped out and got a room in town.  What pair of candyasses!!!

No riding for me today.  Wrenching in the car park (loose head bearings) for me,  then laundry & rest.

Yea, well we didn't get into one of those fancy ass cabins....They (KOA) had us out in the back swamp area. I knew we would be in trouble when a a swarm of mosquitoes started to carry my tank bag away..... and a 300 yard dash to the restrooms? No thanks.

After all....We were on VACATION !!  (but it was no Disneyland....right Andy?)

QuoteDid anyone go for a ride out to "The Black Canyon Of The Gunnison"?

Quite a few of us rode on RT92, the North rim of Black Canyon.  Dean, Henry, and I rode the Black Rim road as marked on MadMAps to connect with Rt374 on the South rim.  MadMaps was not accurate, because these two roads do not connect.  We had to back track on 6 miles of gravel.
