So hi,
Just found this site.
Should say i am in the UK, had my Fj1200 3cv for about 3 years now 47K miles on the clock and running well, tend to do my own work on things bike included!
done the following....
rebuilt front forks
R1 blue spot calipers
Braided hoses
Hagon rear shock
Hid headlamp
oil an filters plugs  (regular!!)
valve clearance's
cam chain tensioner (replaced)
scott oilier
upgraded oil cooler/thermostat (speeds warm up)
re-enamelled engine
polished swing arm, (thinking of doing casings)
currently trying to refurbish some infill bits that sit in around the tank
ho and done the diaphragm's in the carbs balance and colour tuned too ..... (that was sorting out and idle problem)(also shows my age maybe)
i tend to like all things with an engine lol
before the Fj i had an xj900f that did over 120K miles and was purring when i sold it (not all my mile's)
so trying to think of what else to say to you all..
also had a Husky 610te on a 1999 plate
currently got a zx7r on a 1998 (p3) which I'm also putting back together (i now do plastic welding) going to spray that and have a go at air brushing too.
also have a 1987 cbr 600f with only 32k miles on going to sort that too when i get time!
about me well married 25 years 7 daughters
like fixing things always happy to offer help, always happy to receive it too
going to enjoy reading your threads and seeing what you are doing with this brill bike
so cheers for now as I'm off for a beer :good2:

Welcome Mate, this site will your best friend since you have already caught the modification bug. Get used to using the search function as their is already a ton of useful information that has aleady been covered. Post picks of your bike and modifications, especially if you polished somthing. Some members live for polishing...
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.
