Just found this site, wanted to say hi.  I'm a long time 'lister', haven't posted in forever but me and the FJ's are still here and goin strong.

Hey Steve, thanks for checking in. I too have a '84. That's a interesting solution on the fairing mounted mirrors. How did you do it? Weld any backing tabs on the fairing stay? (fairing subframe) Details, details!

Nothing fancy.  Just a couple big fender washers on the inside of the fairing.  Been so long I kinda forgot about them!  I'm thinking that md was back in 88 or 89 maybe?  the mirrors are Ken Sean brand (I think) and I got them all those years ago at Dennis Kirk...
