Hi,
I found a website for parts and I saw that they had windscreens for about 70.00$ shipping from the UK to Canada. These are the OEM size and they have the touring windscreens that are 4 inches taller. With the shipping the taller ones run about 80.00$. I take it that the shipping to the US should be about the same. I am in no way affiliated to this company but I did purchase a windscreen for my 93 FJ. They have both types available for all models including the FJ1100. The ABS model is the only model that has only the standard height. It can be found under the Bodywork Section under your motorcycle model. Once I get it, I will post pictures and test for strength and durability.

The website is:
www.wemoto.com

Thanks,
Mark

Hi,
well I received the windscreen. I got to tell you it was extremely well wrapped and protected. It also came with the windscreen strip that goes on top. It also came with a little catolog, two company stickers and a yellow rubber key chain. Nice added touch. I ended up having to pay an extra 20.00$ tax when it arrived. I put it on and the fit is not too bad. It was a little off near the mirror mounts but I took a dremal to it and cleaned those edges off nicely. My original windscreen was vibrating badly. This has just about no vibration and it looks great. For about 90.00$ with shipping and the extra tax I had to pay, I think it is a great deal and if ever it got cracked or chipped by rocks or debris I would definately buy another one. I will post pictures when I have the chance.

thanks, just ordered one from them in iridium blue. how long did it take for yours to be delivered?

I bought mine from the UK and I live in Canada. It took a couple of weeks. Not too bad. At that point I didn't realize that there was a supplier for North America. Also where I purchased from, they only had clear and two types of types of tint which were black tint. I would really like to see your windscreen on your bike when you get it.

Here is the packaging

Here's the old windscreen

And here's the new windscreen with new blue bolts

I found another manufacturer of FJ windscreens. Gustafsson Plastics.

Didn't we have some negative feedback on them a while back?

What is "no logo fee"? Do they charge the $40.00 to leave their logo off?

Another source is via Twisted Throttle. They carry MRA windshields from Germany. Standard and a touring height. Clear or smoked. I got the touring smoked screen, looks almost identical to yours with those blue bolts, maybe 1 1/2 inches higher. I'm pretty happy with it.

These guys still list the FJ as well, though their website isn't nearly as nice as I remember.

I buy a lot of parts for my '85 FJ from www.wemoto.com. Cheaper then in Croatia and great service.

I use Wemoto (World's End Motorcycles) regularly, they're a good solid source of FJ parts in the UK
