Robert,
The last time I ordered from you, it was indeed, two days. Trust me, the problem, if there is one, is never you. It is the guys you give it to.

Quick question-how much oil will I lose if I just unbolt the filter housing and swap in the spin on adapter? Is it possible to do this without draining the oil, which, the V&H pipe makes difficult.

Thanks in advance,
Ted

Less than half a quart I would think.

Yes, it is as simple as unbolting your old oil filter housing, following the directions for the adapter I sent and spinning on one of the new filters.

Ted Schefelbein

Awesome. Might delay me an hour or two on Thursday. Hey Pat, when are you leaving?

Same request, save me a brat and a cool one, or three.

Can't wait.

Who-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Box showed up TODAY, one day early, EXCELLENT work, Randy. I should have it installed and on the road tonight, a day early. The postman should get a plug as well, I suppose, but, our relationship has had its ups and downs, mostly downs, but, I digress.

Report, later.

On. Done. 5 miles or so, no leaks. Riding to work, tomorrow, home, then, on the road.

THAT TRIP WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!! Dan is a hell of a host, Dan and Pat are the greatest to ride with, we did what the hell we wanted, rode and worked on bikes every day, and the place is a spectacular area to ride in.

My tailpipe bracket broke. No big deal, let's fabricate a new one.

I met two brothers I didn't know I had.

Kookaloo!

Greetings from Colorado, north of Denver, all is well... sorry for the late check in, no WiFi last night at the hotel. Crossing Iowa and Nebraska on that I-80 is a trip. Traffic absolutely hauls ass, trucks doing 80-85 and cars doing 90+...... all day long, hour after hour. Pushing a headwind the bike is getting ~38mpg while cruising at 5500rpm....love the FJ roll on to 110.
That FJ is running flawless. Thank you Dan for your excellent prep work, I very much appreciate it along with your hospitality. Ted and I had a great time. Your neck of Wisconsin is beautiful. I'm going to follow your recommendation and ride the Rockies. The weather looks clear, temp in the mid 70's.
I'll check back in when I get to Utah.
Thanks again Dan.

Keep an eye on the oil Pat. After running home at 80-85 in temps in the 90s further west, I was down some.

Have a safe trip. It was a pleasure meeting you and Dan.

It was great having both of you guys. You are always welcome.

Looks like andyoutandabout is going to stop by in July.

Like I've said before. Anyone of the fjowners. Is welcome to stop by. Whether they need to work on their bike or just a place to spend the night or a week.
That includes those from out of country.

Pat have a safe ride. And have fun.
