** 2021 RALLY SHIRTS, ANNIVERSARY RALLY EDITION**

So--- thanks everyone for your interest so far in our Rally Polo shirts. I know quite a few of you have responded so far to the earlier thread re shirts, but I would like to get everyones interest gathered into this one thread. If you have said yes to a shirt previously, could you please re confirm here. I will then do a spreadsheet like last year with everyones orders.

There has been a small amount of interest in a basic rally T shirt as well, but the main issue is knowing someone who can supply and design the vector graphics/images needed for screen printing. My embroidery contact has a min order of 25 t shirts for screen printing, and what they need is outside of my abilities. If someone talented in the group would like to seperatley oganise and design/deliver a printed T Shirt, please do.

There is a bit of significance this year with 2021 being the 10th Anniversary of our FJ Ashes Rally in Kennilworth (we will expand more on this in Bingera). To commemorate this event, our Polos this year will have the usual rally details as pictured below, but will also have a nice embroidered crest on the RH chest, with a 2 line Anniversary message underneath where a personalised name would normally go. Pricing is actually a bit better than last year,

** Min order of 10 Polos  - $58.60 each Incl GST
25 plus Polos will allow for some savings  - $52 each inc GST
Personal names allow $7.50 each , although it may be a bit crowded right chest, as advised by the Embroider. but the option is still there for anyone who really wants it. **

Shirts are available in Mens/Ladies, either white/blue, white/red, and white/Black. A link to the sizing charts is below.
For everyone ordering Rally shirts, our bank details for pre payment and to confirm your order ---
NAB BSB 084-004 A/C 83-950-9507 RJ and AE Wise
Postage by Aust Post Red Satchel (3-7 days) or Express Post Yellow Satchel (1-2 days)
1 shirt- small satchel $9.20/$12.20 Express
2 shirts- medium satchel $12.45/$15.95 Express
Or collect from us at home or at the Rally venue. Sorry, no COD.

I am not making any money on this, just happy to organise and get them to you to mark the 2021 event. They do require a 50% deposit from me, so I'll gather responses over the next 10 days and we will confirm everyones order then. Please don't send any payments until we know the final numbers/cost. Its nearly March, not long until Bingera  :good2:.

****Update***

: My embroidery place is moving at the end of March, and they would like to get our shirts done before moving (disruptions, delays etc). So could everyone who responded wanting a shirt please confirm with your payement ($52.00 per shirt + $7.50 if you want your name done) asap. Our bank details are above, thanks for your understanding with this. We have 28 pre payment orders so the shirts will be at the cheaper price.

Many Thanks

Thank you for your efforts Ray.
I'm booked and ready.

You can put me down for two shirts.

Hoping everything goes to plan.

I should be able to get the Thursday, Friday and Monday off.
Will probably leave the rally Sunday morning and take two days to ride home.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Rally prep done!

There was some 'rain' forecast for this arvo.
After all the work done on the bike, all good, but I'd not ridden it in rain yet. I've also got new gear and wanted to try that out too.
I thought lets gear up and go out into weather I'd normally prefer to miss.

Phew, it was not rain, I'd ridden into a lake  :sarcastic:. On the highway cars were pulled over, there was heaps of water running across the road, it really pelted down. This was a real acid test

The bike ran perfect. Electrics all good, engine all good, brakes, tyres all fine.

Of my new gear, great! I did make two schoolboy errors. First I forgot about proper gloves and just wore my summer gloves, so my sleeves were soaked from the wrist to elbow. Second was not having my balaclava thingy properly pulled outside the jacket collar, so back and chest eventually soaked down to crotch and pants.
The pants didn't leak at the crotch like normal, it was from to collar.
My boots were the stand-out. Dry, warm & grippy.

Overall I had 30 min of comfy if a little scary riding in heavy rain before I felt the first little bit of cold.

For the rally I'll again take my old 80s blue one piece PVC wet weather gear and wrestle it on over the new stuff.

My gloves are rooted so I'll get a new pair, and hopefully some mitten rain covers.

After all this preparation, testing and planning, it will be a gloriously dry and unseasonably warm rally trip  :sarcastic:.

Getting all excited to get going to the rally. Sadly the 92 will not be making an appearance as it will (hopefully) be in transit to its new owner by then (a deposit has been taken). So Sparkles will be coming out of retirement for the trip.
I am hoping for an unseasonably warm late autumn ride over the  hills to Bingara, as temps have been known to go below freezing up there this time of year. It will be a good test of rider and machine.

Myself and lady friend and bike are pretty much prepped and ready to go.
Is there any estimate of numbers attending or routes being followed?
I'll be leaving home (Belmont) Friday but I've not decided which way to go, via Willow Tree/Narrabri or Thunderbolts Way via Walcha/Uralla.
