Hey all,
Not really an FJ question - actually I had discussed this for the FJ in my project thread and decided buying lines from RPM was the best bet.  But for our V30 Magna, it seems there are no premade clutch lines available anywhere.  There are some pretty knowledgeable folks on here and I wonder if anybody could point me to a source of parts for making my own braided lines.  It seems some of the options I found before are NLA, and the best I found so far is Earl's.

Andy advice?
Thanks.

Back in the olden days, before RPM carried Spiegler line kits for our FJ's, you had to measure your own lines and order directly from Spiegler.

Spiegler's lines are  kool because you can  rotate the banjos. I had a local hydraulic company make my first set. For the gixxer front end and rear brake.  And he had to remake one because the orientation of the banjo wasn't correct.

Waiex191,

I'd go shopping around the local hydraulics shops.  The right place should be able to copy your old hydraulic lines, with the new banjo ends which can rotate as needed when you install them.  You can get the stainless-braided lines with custom-colored translucent sheathing including clear, if desired.  Chances are, a decent independent bike shop can give you some good places to check locally.  Please report back, with any good sources you may find there.
Cheers,
Red

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses.  I'll let you know how we make out.

This.

I usually get my lines from a local Pirtek shop. They are an industrial hydraulics franchise. Their top line brake hose would probably outlast any vehicle in existence.

You can order a Spiegler clutch line for your Magna from RPM.  :drinks:

When I did the Suzuki USD fork mod, I needed a custom length for the brake line. I contacted RPM and gave them the length that I needed and the angle of each end. I think I got the new line delivered in about 10 days. Plus, you can specify any color of line and/or fittings. I went with all Black.
