I'm looking for the distance down the fork leg from the bottom of the lower triple to the axle centerline. 88-90, forks at their stock height. Measured with the bike on the c-stand and the front wheel off the ground and unloaded.
Thanks, Pete

Pete,

Would this measurement be the same for all varieties of the FJs?  They may vary by country.

What model do you have?  If you add that info to your profile/ avatar/ signature, we would know without asking.
Cheers,
Red

P.S. Life is too short, and health is too valuable, to ride on cheap parade-duty tires.

I believe they are different. There are 3 different lengths of fork tubes between the generations.

That said I don't have an 89-90 to measure here, currently.

G'day Pete, 520 mm from bottom of lower triple clamp to centre of axle. Sorry I don't and won't do imperial measurements.
This was taken from my 1990 1200 with forks in original position and front wheel raised off the ground.
  Regards, Pete.
